What shall I do if new fields emerged in some filter columns of my data file(s) ?

General Principle

When in a filter column of your data file, a new field is arising, the corresponding entry will be immediately and automatically accessible since the data processing. Therefore, if you add a new store or a new hotel in your filter Column List of Hotels - even after the project setup-, and if your data contained this new field in the corresponding lines, then the corresponding field will be included both into the proposed filter (in the advanced search bar) AND in the corresponding Verbatim detailed information.

Conclusion: You have nothing to do to update the information.

Exception

The only exception is concerning the emotional mapping view: an update is required to assign a new GPS spot  (Lat, Long) to a new filter field. Thanks in this case to contact the support team via an ticket  / issue (available in the Help Center), communicating the new spotsto be added, with ideally the GPS coordinates or (mandatory) its full address. The support team will be able to add them into our data bases to propose the immediate update of the screen:

Thanks to note that if your mapping is based on a category (theme) and not on a filter, it's not useful to do it, except if you want to update the classification model with the new spot. In this case, thanks to contact the support team with a ticket (available in the Help Center).

Beware of the data coherence into the filter fields:

In any transmitted data file, it is recommended to unify the fields and the column names in order to use easily the whole search and selection features. For example if for a same store, in your data, the names are slightly different (ex: New York Fifth Avenue, new york Fifth avenue, NY 5th avenue, etc.) , 3 different fields will appear in the corresponding filter. To get the whole comments, you will have to add / group the 3 options/ fields in your search:

This will be ok for many requests into the platform.
But kindly notice that some features may be affected like:
  1. Overview by filter: Every field will be separated from the other, and it is impossible to group them so that the results of each line will be correct but partial.
  2. Emotional Mapping: Only one field can be linked to one GPS spot. The results will be partial and if we add the 2 other fields to the same spot, markers will overlap on the emotional map.
  3. Reporting: the iteration can not accept exception for the moment, the 3 different names will therefore create 3 different distinct iterations.

Example: If your criteria Global Satisfaction switch from Très satisfait to Très satisfait(e), you may group to get all the mentions:

Un filtre est une méta-donnée requérable provenant des données transmises.
