Data configuration (Surveys / Files)


If the Q°emotion team has carried out the project configuration for you, the prerequisites for the filters on your dimensions are normally met. You can proceed to the next paragraph.

In order for the solution to be able to read and integrate all your survey files in the right formats, it is necessary to fill out an integration file prior to sending data. This will allow the system to correctly interpret the file, locate the columns of dates, texts and filters, etc.

The configuration file therefore includes, among other information, the list of column labels expected in the data file.

Among the necessary information, the format of each column must be specified. 

The list of possible column formats is as follows:

Date | Text | SatisfactionScore | RecommendationScore | Filter | Information | Blank | Language | LineID | UserID
  1. The comment columns to be analyzed must be in Text format.
  2. A date column is required and must have the Date format. If more than one date is available, we advise you to prefer the end date of the experiment and not the date of response to the survey.
  3. Overall Satisfaction scores should be in the format SatisfactionScore.
  4. Recommendation scores must be in the RecommendationScore format.
  5. Any column to be found in Filters must have the Filter format. 
  6. Contextual information that is not intended to be filtered in later searches can be declared as Information at the time of integration: it will appear in the verbatim bubble but not in the filter bar.
  7. If line or client numbers are important, you can add them with LineID and UserID.
  8. Contextual information that is not relevant for simple display on the platform can be declared with the Blank format (at the time of integration). The tool will not record them at all in our databases.
  9. If any information has a personal nominative character, in accordance with our booklet Our RGPD Commitments, please do not transmit this information to us.
  10. A question (or wording) must be associated with each column of Text for Surveys

Other information is necessary for the correct integration of the data, such as the language of entry, the necessary translation, etc.
