I find some symbols like \_ or _/ in the comments: why ?
Imagine that in a survey, your question had a negative (like in the example below) connotation.
Imagine that the response of the customer is: Price and coverage.
In this case, the emotion expressed was negative, but no markers are coming from the words of the customer. He / she is using the emotions of the question and add no emotional intensity to it.
Now imagine the reverse situation: your question had a positive connotation with the same reply.
TO SUMMARIZE
This means that for short sentences, the emotion may be radically different depending of the question and not the words of the comments!
To be able to analyse correctly those situations, Q°emotion may request to add a small symbol of the tone for
- negative connotation: \_ ( =descending tone)
- positive connotation: _/ ( =ascending tone)
During the emotional analysis, those symbols may be used to rebalance the emotions in a correct way.
IMPORTANT
This symbol will have an impact only when the emotional intensity of the speech is low or very low. Else it won't influence the emotional analysis. When a customer reply to the question: (What could we improve in the experience) and replies: \_ nothing, everything was great! , the symbols won't impact the emotional analysis (here the happiness).
