How to create a new alert in seconds ?



The steps

To create a new alert on the application you only need to access the dedicated page Alerts by email.

  1. Choose a project
(An alert is necessarily linked with a project).
  1. Click on the blue button Create an alert.

  1. A contextual window will open and you can fullfil the following information:
  1. Name your alert
  2. Write its condition(s)
  3. Choose the max frequency
  4. Choose the recipient emails that shall receive the alerts
  1. Validate your choices and create the alert (Submit button)
  2. The new alert will appear in the listing view (if not please update the page and check again please)

    How to define conditions for your alerts?



    The possible combinations are quite infinite because you can play on 3 different levels:

    1. The type of selector

    You can select 4 types of information as main alert criteria :
    - A verbatim primary emotion
    - Any of the themes and categories, sub-categories or sub-sub categories automatically found into the comment by the solution
    - Any of your data key criteria (coming from you meta data or from calculated data, or from the CSAT scores / Reco score / NPS profiles, etc. if those indicator have been sent with your file (you can check the More Filter list to see the available filters).
    - Any keywords (criteria "is exactly equal to")

    2. The equivalence criteria


    that you can combine with.... "is equal" or "is not equal to" criteria.

    You can choose OR or AND conditions with the choice One of these conditions OR All of these conditions:




    1. When one of these conditions is fulfilled :

      1. Corresponding to a OR condition: {A Condition OR  B Condition  OR  C Condition}  
      2. Is ideal to sum data  (A OR B OR C).
      3. No limitation in number of arguments (but we advise to be reasonable to facilitate the future maintenance of the alerts)
      4. Is ideal to manage emotions if you need cumulate several main emotions
      5. Is ideal to manage groups of values where values are similar


    1. When all these conditions shall be fulfilled:

      1. Corresponding to an AND condition
      2. Search a data intersection with the defined criterias : {D Condition  AND  E Condition  AND  F Condition} 


    1. You can combine both types of conditions as defined above :
    When twice types are chosen, the link between the conditions groups is a "AND", which can be summarized with the following lines: 
    {A Condition  OR  B Condition  OR  C Condition}  
    AND
    {D Condition  AND  E Condition  AND  F Condition} 

    General suggestions

    1. Define well the use case that you want to implement linked with the actions or communication you expect from the operations (see Introduction ).
    2. The category detector and the emotion detector being fully automated, some mistakes can arise.
    3. Find a name to easily differentiate your different alerts like By recipients, by targets, by conditions etc.
    4. It is always possible for users to access the calculated alerts on the platform and download the files from the solution (with email security).
    5. etc.

    Suggestions on the conditions

    1. You can check in advance the comments that match with your selection criteria
    2. If your conditions are not fulfilled, no alert will be sent.
    3. Configure with simplicity: Do not maximise the number of variables (all the more if you want to get a minimum volume of comments)
    4. The alerts are shared between all users : if you modify or delete an alert, advise your collegues in advance. 
    5. The conditions of an alert are not editable: if you want to modify the conditions, please delete and recreate your alerts

    Suggestions on the sending parameters (frequency, destinatory)

    1. You may very easily add all the account users with the corresponding shortcut checkbox.
    2. Please advise all the recipients that will receive future alerts before the next processing.
    3. When the defined frequency is Weekly, the alert will be launched on the beginning of the week if and only if new data have been processed in the week before.
    4. When the defined frequency is Montlhy, the alert will be launched on the beginning of the month if and only if new data have been processed in the month before.
