To upload your own surveys results, or any comments from your audience(s) , it is very easy.
To know when we advise you to create a new project and when it is more interesting to merge your analyses please read this article.
I. If you want to create a new project
This step is only possible for the Plan Emotion Start, Emotion Plus or Emotion Pro.
If you are users of the Plan Emotion Corporate, you will save those setup steps. Those steps will be done upon request by our support team for you. Please contact us.
Step 1: Start a new project
Once your email has been validated, and if you have some credits on your account, you can easily create at any time a new project using the buttons available on the main page of the application:
Follow the 5 steps up to the step 2, where you define your sources of data.
Step 2. Choose File Upload
Choose File upload, click on Next button and access to the following page.
You will then be able to upload the Excel template file proposed:
Once arrived at this step, you will automatically receive an email to come back to this step at any time if you need more time to send the data file.
Step 3. Open the Template file and follow the following instructions.
Step 3 - 1: Simply copy and paste your data table on the worksheet
LIMITATIONS AND EXPECTED FORMAT
- Limitations: Max 50.000 lines / Max 100 columns (ie. A from CV columns) for your data
- Your data should be portrait-oriented (If it is not the case, please copy with transpose).
- Your data should have columns with headers on the first line only. (Additional header lines will be considered as data to analyze: please delete them).
- The header will be the filters you will refind in the solution: correct them if necessary to get clean data.
- Minimum one column with text to analyze (Called with the Header Status "Text", see Worksheet 2.). If you have several columns, it is managed by the solution.
- We expect one date column in the following format YYYY-MM-DD for each line. This can be the date of comment (or preferably) the date of the experience or any random date. (Called with the Header Status "Date", see Worksheet 2.)
- If your data do not contain any column, we will propose you to give us one beginning and one end date to choose random date into the interval period.
- Personal data: email, addresses, personal names, credit card customer information, etc. are prohibited for GDPR reasons. Please do not send us this data, this kind of data is of no use for our analysis.
- No special characters in headers: A-Z;a-z are better (Points in header(s) will be automatically replaced with the character "-")
- if you insert 3 different files several times with 3 different headers for the same concept, different filters will be created. We advise you to keep the same format to group easily the filter names and facilitate further searches.
- Satisfaction score maximum and minimum will be detected from your data. The Satisfaction score will then appear like this: 3/10 on the platform (if 10 is the max)
- Recommendation scores are expected from 0 to 10. Adjust it to this scale so that the NPS calculated will be correct.
Step 3 - 2: Once done, go to the worksheet 2.
- Choose your Source* type between the following list: (mandatory)
- Choose the idioma* of the comments (mandatory, or optional if you have a column Original Idioma)
The idioma is an important parameter for the semantic analysis. If all the comments are made using one single idioma, choose it into the list proposed.
If there is several comments in different languages (ex: 10 comments in German, 1000 in English), use the following response in the list: My comments are written in several languages and add a column in your data with the Original idioma information (please use the Idioma code provided in Parameters)
- Add your reference File ID (optional, if needed)
- Define a deletion date if needed (Optional. By default the deletion date will be 3 years after the data integration and processing)
Step 3 - 3: Then complete the headers status in the column H of the file (by default: you have: do not integrate this column).
After having choosen the header status, you will get this:
- Please read notices to detect any issues on your file.
- If you file is a survey, please complete the questions in the white cells of the column M:
has to be completed with each questions:
- If there is no date column in your data, please complete the beginning and end date to let us complete with random date between the interval period of your choice.
- We detect automatically the problem in your data. You can not send us the file when problems have been detected.
- When you get the message, you can save your file and send it with a drag and drop on the Qemotion upload icon. (or click to choose your file in your personal disk).
We will check your file and launch the automatic processing in a few hours / days depending your priority queues and your plan. We will check your file and launch the automatic processing as soon as possible.
II. If you want to integrate your new data to an existing project
If you are users of the Plan Emotion Corporate please got to Part III.
This step is only possible for the Plan Emotion Start, Emotion Plus or Emotion Pro.
Step 1: Access the sources of the project (Project configuration > Sources)
Go on the project list and left click on the configuration button.
You will access to the listing of sources of your project.
Click then on Add a new source (upper part) :
