The module °Benchmark

The module °Benchmark

Each user has the ° Benchmark module in the platform. This module allows you to create, name, edit, delete synthetic tables of results on horizontal and vertical axes with complete freedom.

No prior configuration is necessary to use this functionality: any project can be described via one or more benchmarks as there are several themes, several verbatim dates and several operational dimensions ( Key criteria related to the data).

The °Benchmark module is directly accessible through a dedicated icon at the bottom of the vertical menu bar, between the °Insights and °Reporting modules.

If no benchmark has yet been created for the project, simply click on the Create a benchmark button available on the entry page

Note that you can choose a detailed or synthetic version of the display to control the configured axes:

The creation of a benchmark is done in a single step: define the name of your benchmark. At this stage the benchmark is empty. You can also add to the name a more elaborate description if desired, which appears under the name of the benchmark and allows you to express, for example, the objective of the benchmark.

In the upper tab of the benchmarks management, it is possible to click on Manage benchmarks. We then obtain on the list of benchmarks with their description, we can define a default benchmark. You can also rename, duplicate or delete a benchmark at any time.

Once the Benchmark has been created, the user can complete it with the elements he or she wants.  To do this, it can add columns or rows at the same time.

First, it can modify the global filters that will apply to the entire benchmark. These are the period fields, themes and all the other filters available by clicking on the More Filters button.

For example: If the data cover 3 years but you only want to compare the current year, you can position the global period filter over the entire current year. This will automatically exclude all data not relevant to the analysis.

Or if the project includes 3 brands but you want to place yourself on the customer path of a particular brand, you can define this constraint on all the columns and rows of the benchmark. The advantage of this strategy is that the modification/duplication of the benchmark is then easy on the second and third brand since only a global field will remain to be modified after duplication of the initial benchmark.
