The main emotion of a comment
Thanks to a dictionary with millions of words and emotionally qualified expressions, the emotional analysis is performed automatically on multiple levels of the commentary:
To establish the main emotion of the commentary, the algorithm will dissect each sentence. The relative emotional intensities of each of the 6 primary emotions and secondary dimensions required for the analysis are calculated successively on all these levels.
To establish the emotional intensity in each section considered, the algorithm will also interpret modern written language codes, such
as punctuation, the use of superlative words, emojis, and words written in upper case. Each of the signals and words is transcribed into emotional intensity scores that establish both the main emotion of each sentence and the emotional intensity of each sentence. This automatically establishes the main emotion for each comment.
The main emotion of the commentary is established on the basis of the relative intensity of each of the sentences that compose it.
