How are selected the elements of the card "Success points & points to improve" ?

The context of the card

The card Success points & points to improve is situated into the module  °Global > Global results. The card is closed to Tops & Flops comments card and the Word cloud card. The card is also proposed on the emotional mapping (when you click on a location into the map) and when you click on detailed view charts (Data by filters, Category overview, etc.)

Recently this chart has been added on the main landing page (Key Insights tab).

Definition

This card is displaying 3 (to 5) strong points and 3 (to 5) weak points that are arising based on the 4 following criteria:
- Among the category selection (you can edit your selection at any time on the Category Overview page > Edit my selection
- According to a first Adaptable representativity criteria (Minimum volume depending of total volume of comments) (1)
- According to a second Precision criteria (2)
- The Best (resp. Worst) emotional index scores on the project, the considered period and the considered selection :




To calculate the emotional index of a category, the solution is calculating the average of the emotional indexes of the comments where the category can be found.
(NB: for the moment, not only the sentence where the category can be found, which is smoothing lightly the results ).

(1) REPRESENTATIVITY CRITERIA

We tried to always reach a minimum of 2% (in fact between 2 and 5%) significativity.

(1) The rule of representativity is concatenating the following criterias:
  • When total considered volume is superior or equal to 5000 mentions, will be displayed the categories with a min of 100 mentions
  • When total considered volume is superior or equal to 1000, will be displayed the categories with a min of 30 mentions
  • When total considered volume is superior or equal to 500, will be displayed the categories with a min of 10 mentions
  • When total considered volume is superior or equal to 100, will be displayed the categories with a min of 5 mentions
  • When total considered volume is inferior or equal to 100, will be displayed the categories with a min of 2 mentions

    (2) ACTIONABILITY/PRECISION CRITERIA

    The precision rule is applied and implement the following selection criteria:

  • When one or more sub sub categories are selected, we will display only sub sub categories into the Success points and Points to improve selection
  • If no sub sub categories can meet the criteria explained above, then if one or more sub categories can be displayed, only sub categories will be displayed. 
  • To remain actionable, macro categories won't be displayed in this card. 

  • NB: If no categories have been selected in the category selection or if no categories meet the described criteria, the card will show an message Enlarge your selection or add more data
