Please note: Disgust can be a marker that the product does not respond to a segment of the population. In this case, unless alternative products are offered, the cost of re-acquiring or re-acclimating the product will be very high compared to a customer who is simply disappointed or angry.

Disgust is the emotion most closely linked to the sensations experienced. Thus the organoleptic properties of a food product can cause peaks of disgust for certain customer segments.
